Mumbai/IBNS, Dec. 23 -- Banks across India will observe public and regional holidays during the Christmas week, according to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) official holiday list, media reports said.

All banks nationwide will remain closed on December 25 for Christmas.

Certain northeastern states will observe additional regional bank holidays:
