India, Aug. 12 -- Bangladesh and Malaysia have signed five Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and three Exchange of Notes in diverse areas of cooperation on the first day of Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus's visit to the country, media reports said.
The MoUs were signed amid Bangladesh's continuous attempt to find a new partnership amid deteriorating bond with India.
Yunus is currently on a three-day visit to Malaysia.
The two countries signed MoUs covering divergent areas including defence, trade, and education.
