India, May 6 -- Hindu leader Chinmoy Krishna Das has been shown arrested by a Chittagong court in four more cases filed with Kotwali Police Station over clashes, vandalism and attacks on cops on the court building premises last year.

Chattogram Metropolitan magistrate SM Alauddin Mahmud passed the order after the investigation officers of the cases filed applications with the court to show him arrest in the cases, reported The Daily Star.

The hearing in the case was heard virtually amid security concerns.

With the addition of four more cases, Das is currently facing five cases in total that also include the death of Advocate Saiful Islam Alif.
