India, July 4 -- Bearing a chilling resemblance to the recent Meghalaya murder, a woman in Maharashtra's Aurangabad allegedly conspired her husband's murder just 45 days after their wedding, believing he was a hurdle in her illicit relationship with her uncle, media reports said.
Police have arrested three individuals, including the mastermind, Goonja Singh, the wife of the victim, Priyanshu alias Chhotu, who was shot dead on the night of June 24.
The police revealed that Goonja Singh was in an illicit relationship with her maternal uncle, Jeevan Singh.
Unable to sustain the affair, Goonja and Jeevan allegedly decided to eliminate Priyanshu.
During interrogation, Goonja confessed her involvement in the deadly conspiracy.
