Raipur/IBNS, Nov. 4 -- At least six people lost their lives and several others were injured when a passenger train collided with a goods train in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur district on Tuesday.

The tragic incident occurred along the Bilaspur-Katni railway section, where the Korba passenger train collided with a parked freight train near the Lal Khadan area.

The force of the impact was so severe that several coaches of the passenger train climbed over one another, causing widespread panic among passengers and residents in the vicinity.
