India, Sept. 26 -- The ICC has fined Indian cricket team skipper Suryakumar Yadav 30 percent of his match fee for his 'Pahalgam tribute' comment made during the Asia Cup 2025 after winning the match against Pakistan.
The incident took place on September 14 after India's seven-wicket win in Lahore.
Sources told PTI that the BCCI has appealed the decision, and an official ICC release will soon confirm the final verdict.
