Chennai, July 1 -- Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group, reported a 3% year-on-year growth in total vehicle sales (domestic plus exports) for June 2025, with 15,333 units dispatched compared to 14,940 units in the same month last year.

The company's medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) bus segment was the standout performer in June, registering a robust 56% increase, rising to 3,172 units from 2,030 units a year earlier.

Cumulatively, truck sales dipped 3% to 20,382 units for the fiscal year to date.

Overall M&HCV sales stood at 9,829 units, up 3% from 9,519 units in June last year, while year-to-date M&HCV sales in FY26 remained largely flat at 28,071 units (up 1%).
