New Delhi/IBNS, Feb. 8 -- Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was carried away by the wealth, said social activist Anna Hazare after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was swept away from power in the national capital by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

As per the trends of the Delhi poll results, the BJP is leading in 48 seats paving way for its return to power after 27 years.

The AAP, which had won 62 out of 70 seats, is lagging behind with only 22.

The elections were held on February 5.
