Amaravati, June 8 -- Andhra Pradesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with US-based tech giant Nvidia Corporation to accelerate the development of the state's artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced on Saturday.

The partnership will see Nvidia assist in curriculum design and skilling initiatives over the next two years, as the state aims to position itself as a national hub for AI innovation and talent.

As part of the collaboration:

10,000 engineering students in the state will be trained in AI technologies. 500 AI startups from Andhra Pradesh will be onboarded to Nvidia's Inception Program, granting them access to global exposure, mentoring and critical AI resources.
