India, Jan. 10 -- Tech major and online marketplace Amazon has launched the Alexa+ website, allowing users to interact with its virtual assistant directly through a web browser - a move that places the company in more direct competition with ChatGPT and other AI chat platforms.
Announcing the rollout on Monday, Amazon said: "Today, we're expanding on that vision by rolling out Alexa.com to all Alexa+ Early Access customers."
The company said more than 600 million Alexa-enabled devices have been purchased worldwide to date.
