India, June 16 -- Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and his family members shifted to an underground bunker in northeastern Tehran just hours before Israel launched its attacks on Tehran on Friday, media reports said.

All members of Khamenei's family, including his son Mojtab, are with him, sources told Iran International.

US President Donald Trump has vetoed an Israeli plan to assassinate Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a U.S. official told Fox News on Sunday, amid escalating tension between the two nations.
