India, Sept. 13 -- Air India Express has rolled out a new "Book Direct" campaign, encouraging passengers to book tickets directly through its website or mobile app.

Students and senior citizens receive a minimum 6% discount, while armed forces personnel and their dependants can get up to 50% off.

According to the airline, these savings can be combined with ongoing offers, potentially totalling up to 70%.

Air India Express also offers a "Fare Lock" service that allows passengers to secure fares for up to seven days by paying a nominal fee.

Mastercard debit and credit card users can get discounts of 250 rupees on domestic flights and 600 rupees on international flights.
