Bhilai Nagar, Nov. 16 -- A Chhattisgarhi film actress Maya Sahu on Saturday was attacked in broad daylight near her house by some bike-born youth in Bhilai Chhattisgarh.

The attackers escaped immediately after attacking the actress.According to information gathered from police, the actress Sahu was on way to her friend in theafternoon. In the meantime two bike-borne youth behind her hit on her head and poured some inflammable substance on her and then fled. Maya Sahu was immediately rushed to Government Hospital Supela by her relative.According to doctors, the actress has been found to have some minor injury mark behind her head.Police suspect that attackers and Maya knew each other.
