Mumbai, Aug. 31 -- Television and film actor Priya Marathe, best remembered for her role as Varsha Satish in Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta, passed away in Mumbai on August 31, 2025.

She was 38 and had been battling cancer for the past year.

She went on to play Vidya Bali in Balaji Telefilms' Kasamh Se and participated in the first season of Comedy Circus.

In 2012, she married fellow actor Shantanu Moghe.

Her death is being mourned across the television and film fraternity, where she was admired for her versatility and strong performances.
