Bengaluru/IBNS, Dec. 20 -- India has taken a significant step towards nurturing school-level talent in artificial intelligence with the launch of the Indian National AI Olympiad (INAIO) 2026.

Announced by ACM India, the national chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery, on Thursday (December 18), the initiative aims to identify and train students capable of representing the country at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) next year.

The INAIO 2026 has been positioned as India's only accredited pathway to the IOAI, a prestigious international competition that brings together top young minds in artificial intelligence from across the world.
