New Delhi, Jan. 26 -- Hours after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) accused BJP workers of accompanying poll officials during the 'vote-from-home' exercise for elderly voters, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Delhi issued a statement clarifying that representatives of all political parties are allowed to join these visits.
AAP shared a video on X, purportedly showing an elderly woman recounting her experience of the home voting process, where she alleged BJP members were present with the poll officials.
The party claimed the BJP, with the Election Commission's support, was undermining democracy in Delhi.
