New Delhi/IBNS, April 11 -- Several flights flying to and from Delhi were diverted on Friday after the national capital was hit by a strong dust storm.

The dust storm also hit Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh this evening after days of scorching heat across parts of northern India.

As many as 15 flights flying to and from Delhi were diverted, said reports.

In a post on X, Air India said that some of its flights to and from Delhi were either delayed or diverted due to the thunderstorm.

IndiGo and SpiceJet said that some of their flights may also be impacted due to the weather.
