London/IBNS, March 28 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's address to the students at Kellogg College, Oxford University in London turned ugly as she was grilled by a section of the audience on industrialisation and the horrific rape-murder incident at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
Mamata was on Thursday heckled by members of the UK branch of India's leftist students' wing, Students' Federation of India (SFI).
When the SFI students rolled out banners and held it high, protesting against Mamata's claims, she said, "Thank you so much. You are welcoming me. I will give you a sweet tooth."
The Chief Minister initially encouraged the students to "raise their voice" flagging democracy.
