Mumbai/IBNS, Aug. 4 -- Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan did not spare Congress MP Shashi Tharoor from his wits and humour while thanking the senior politician for congratulating him on his National Award.

The 59-year-old actor won his first National Award in the Best Actor category for his 2023 Hindi film Jawan after working for 33 years in the film industry.

He was named the Best Actor jointly with Vikrant Massey, who was picked for 12th Fail.

In a video message, an injured SRK turned emotional and expressed his gratitude to his fans, directors, his management team and family for the big achievement.
