Los Angeles/IBNS, Jan. 25 -- US president Donald Trump on Friday toured California to inspect the damage caused by the wildfire in Los Angeles setting aside his differences with Democratic governor Gavin Newsom, media reports said.

Trump visited California amid worries over the aid and recovery of Los Angeles where the wildfire scorched thousands of acres, burnt down over 10,000 structures and killed about 30 people.

Trump had earlier lashed out at Newsom over the wildfire that led more than 100,000 evacuated.

On January 8, Trump, who was then the president-elect, had called Newsom "Gavin Newscum" in a social media post.

Trump had written on social media, "This is all his fault!!!"
