Jammu/IBNS, May 4 -- Hours after being dismissed from service for "concealing" his marriage with a Pakistani woman, CRPF jawan Munir Ahmed on Saturday said he solemnized his wedding nearly a month after being granted permission from the force's headquarters last year, media reports said.

Munir Ahmed, a resident of the Gharota area of Jammu who joined the CRPF in April 2017, said he would challenge his dismissal in court.

"I am sure of getting justice," he reportedly said.

Munir Ahmed, posted in Jammu and Kashmir, came under scrutiny after officials discovered he had not only kept his marriage under wraps but had also failed to report that his wife's visa had expired, reported India Today.
