India, Nov. 23 -- Former Ukraine military commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny has said that he believes World War III is underway, adding the direct involvement of Russian allies in the escalation indicates the same.

I absolutely believe that in 2024 we can believe that the Third World War has begun, Zaluzhny was quoted as saying by NDTV during a speech at the Ukrainska Pravdas UP100 award ceremony.
