Kolkata, March 2 -- Trinamool Congress MP and Bengali film actress Nusrat Jahan on Tuesday attacked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the increasing number of violent crimes against women in his state.

She asked Adityanath that why is he failing to prioritize the safety and security of women in his state.

Nusrat also slammed the ruling BJP in UP for concentrating only on the upcoming Bengal elections rather than providing safety to women of the north Indian state.
