New Delhi, May 1 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday issued a stern warning following the deadly April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, declaring that India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, would deliver a precise and decisive response to any act of terrorism.
These were Shah's first public comments since the attack.
He reaffirmed the Centre's commitment to eliminating terrorism entirely, saying,
The Pahalgam terror attack, which left 25 tourists and one local dead, marked one of the most severe assaults on civilians in recent memory.
