Mumbai/IBNS, June 24 -- Indian billionaire businessman Gautam Adani has lauded Adani Defence's role in Operation Sindoor, a military action carried out by the Indian Armed Force to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

Addressing the 33rd annual general meeting of Adani Group shareholders, the Adani Group chairman said Adani Defence delivered when it was needed during Operation Sindoor.

The Adani Group chairman said Operation Sindoor showed India is aware of the value of peace but also ready to give a befitting response if threatened.
