New Delhi/IBNS, May 10 -- Hours after the Supreme Court granted him bail, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal walked out of Tihar Jail Friday evening, 50 days after he was arrested on corruption charges linked to the alleged liquor policy scam.

The Aam Aadmi Party supremo has been granted bail till June 1, the date for the final round of voting in the ongoing Lok Sabha election.

As he walked out of Tihar Jails Gate No 4, Kejriwal was welcomed by a mob of flag-waving and slogan-shouting AAP workers, as well as his wife Sunita Kejriwal, and senior leaders like Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj.

In his first public comments after leaving jail, Kejriwal thanked all the judges of the top court.
