India, Nov. 25 -- Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has slammed his colleague Richa Chadha's sarcastic tweet on Galwan valley involving the Indian Army that has triggered a row.

Richa was heavily criticised after she tweeted "Galwan says hi' in response to the Indian Army's statement that it was ready to take back the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir if the government gives order.

Slamming the actor, ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, "Disgraceful tweet. Should be withdrawn at the earliest. Insulting our armed forces is not justified."

Facing the flak, Richa deleted her tweet and issued an apology, reminding the critics of her family's connection with the Indian Army.
