New York, Sept. 28 -- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, saying that "major international terrorist attacks are traced back to one country."

He pointed to the recent terror strike in Pahalgam, which killed 26 tourists, mostly Hindu, as the latest example of cross-border terrorism.

The minister said India has faced this challenge since independence, enduring the presence of a neighbour that serves as the "epicentre of global terrorism."
