Beijing/IBNS, Sept. 1 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday called out the "double standards on terrorism" by certain countries at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit raising the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians in India's Jammu and Kashmir.

In a big diplomatic win, the SCO has condemned the Pahalgam terror attack after Prime Minister Modi raised the issue of cross-border terrorism in his bilateral meeting with China's President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the event in Tianjin.

Mentioning the attack, the member states expressed "deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the dead and the wounded".
