Beijing/IBNS, Sept. 1 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said he "discussed ways to deepen bilateral cooperation in all sectors" with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit.
After participating in the SCO Summit, Modi took a car ride with Putin and headed for the bilateral talks that have gained immense significance amid the US' 50 percent tariffs on India over the purchase of oil from Moscow.
On his car ride, Modi wrote, "After the proceedings at the SCO Summit venue, President Putin and I travelled together to the venue of our bilateral meeting. Conversations with him are always insightful."
