India, Jan. 26 -- French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday greeted his "dear Indian friends" on the occasion of India's Republic Day, sharing a throwback image from his 2024 visit to the country with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Posting the selfie on X, clicked during India's 75th Republic Day celebrations last year when he was the chief guest, Macron wrote, "What a wonderful memory of the #RepublicDay we shared together in 2024!"
