India, March 3 -- Twelve new-age tech stocks under Inc42's coverage, including the likes of Zomato, Paytm and Nykaa, CarTrade and Nazara have featured in the newly-launched Nifty India Internet & Ecommerce Index.

Launched on February 28 by NSE's index services subsidiary NSE Indices Limited, the index will track the performance of companies from the Nifty Total Market that conduct business largely through online platforms.

The 21-stock thematic index also includes stocks like Info Edge, Swiggy, PB Fintech, Infibeam, ixigo, IndiaMART InternMESH, EaseMyTrip, TBO Tek, IRCTC, Infibeam Avenues, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, among others.
