India, Feb. 21 -- Months after making its way into the benchmark index BSE Sensex, Zomato and Jio Financial Services have now been included in another benchmark index, Nifty 50.

In a circular released on February 21, the National Stock Exchange said that the index maintenance sub-committee (equity) of NSE Indices had decided to include the stocks of the two companies in place of Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Britannia.

The changes would come into effect on March 28, 2025 (close of March 27, 2025).
