India, Sept. 17 -- Former Freshworks executive Satya Devarakonda's AI-powered SaaS startup Scalekit has raised $5.5 Mn (INR 48.4 Cr) as part of its seed round co-led by Together Fund and Z47.

The round also saw participation from angel investors such as Adam Frankl, Oliver Jay, Jagadeesh Kunda, among others.

In a statement, the startup said that it will use the fresh proceeds to deepen its agent-centric identity and shore up its tech capabilities.

Founded in 2023 by Devarakonda and Ravi Madabhushi, Scalekit has built an authentication stack for AI apps to make agentic workflows secure. The startup offers infrastructure to help developers securely connect agents, applications and tools.
