India, May 3 -- Finland-based smart ring company Oura has won a preliminary legal victory against Bengaluru-based smart ring and health monitoring device manufacturer Ultrahuman in a patent infringement case.

"It is my initial determination that a violation of section 337 of the Tariff Act, as amended, has occurred by the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, or the sale within the United States after importation of certain smart ring wearable devices, systems, and components thereof based on infringement of U.S. Patent No. 11,868,178.
