India, Jan. 31 -- Entrepreneur Paras Chopra, who recently exited Wingify following its $200 Mn acquisition by private equity firm Everstone, unveiled plans to set up an AI laboratory in India focused on smarter reasoning models.

Making the announcement on social media platforms X and LinkedIn, Chopra said he aims to create a foundational AI lab that would produce models and algorithms for implementation around the world.

"I'm assembling a team to put together a proposal for India's AI mission," Chopra said, adding that he is looking out for technical experts to join the initiative either full-time or part-time.
