India, June 19 -- Maruti Suzuki has selected five Indian startups for the ninth cohort of its flagship accelerator programme.

The startups, picked up for the accelerator programme includes, Frinks AI, mistEO, Adagrad, Com Olho and Eligere, which will now run a proof-of-concept (PoC) with Maruti Suzuki to test their solutions in real-world settings.

This is also for the first time that the programme included global startups.

A total of 26 startups pitched at the finale, with nine selected overall, including three from Germany.
