India, Jan. 21 -- D2C kitchenware brand Cumin Co has bagged $5 Mn (around INR 41.5 Cr) in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures, along with participation from Huddle Ventures and Alteria Capital.
The funding round also saw participation from Atrium Angels, Mokobara cofounders Sangeet Agrawal and Navin Parwal, Tracxn's cofounder Abhishek Goyal, among others.
The Gurugram-based startup plans to utilise the fresh capital to expand its R&D capacity, distribution channels as well as fuel talent acquisition.
"So, R&D, product expansion, channel expansion, brand and team are some of the pillars we plan to deploy this capital," cofounder Niharika Joshi told Inc42.
