India, March 1 -- Reliance Industries' digital arm Jio Platforms is building a cloud-based "personal computer" (PC), which will allow users to deploy compute-intensive artificial intelligence (AI) applications.

During a fireside chat at the Mumbai Tech Week 2025, Jio Infocomm chairman Akash Ambani said that the cloud-based PC will have "no hardware" and will be device agnostic, meaning the new offering will be compatible with all consumer PC brands.
