India, Feb. 19 -- iPhone components manufacturer Murata Manufacturing is reportedly considering shifting some of its production capacity to India.
As per a Bloomberg report, the Japanese manufacturing company sees growing demand for multilayer ceramic capacitors in India and is considering ways to boost its investments in the country.
Murata president Norio Nakajima said, "We've been making our newest capacitors mostly in Japan, but customers are asking us to manufacture more overseas due partly to business continuity planning purposes."
