India, March 6 -- Garuda Aerospace has made a strategic investment in MapmyIndia-backed drone manufacturing startup Zuppa Neo Navigation Technologies.
While Garuda has infused INR 1 Cr in Zuppa, it has also placed orders worth INR 1 Cr for the Chennai-based company's drones. Zuppa cofounder Sai Pattabiram told Inc42 that the company's post-money valuation stands at INR 160 Cr after the latest investment.
Pattabiram said that the investment is part of its ongoing bridge funding round of $1 Mn. Zuppa is looking to raise $10 Mn to $15 Mn in its Series A round over the next 12-18 months, he added.
