India, May 20 -- Months after Cleartrip's chief executive officer Ayyappan Rajagopal stepped down from his role, the Flipkart-owned travel platform has roped in fintech startup Jupiter's chief product and marketing officer Anuj Rathi as its new CEO.

This was first reported by The Arc.

Cleartrip has declined to comment on Inc42's queries on the development.

It is pertinent to note that this will be Rathi's second innings with the Flipkart group. Back in 2010-2012, he served as the company's product manager. Prior to that, he had also worked with companies like Swiggy, Snapdeal and Walmart.

Founded in 2006, Cleartrip is a travel tech platform catering to people travelling with all the bookings.
