India, Feb. 26 -- Workplace communication platform Slack is currently facing a major outage which has affected users globally. The issue spans multiple functionalities, including login/SSO, messaging, connectivity, file sharing, API integrations, and workflows.

Slack's tech dashboard first flagged the problem at 8:57 PM, reporting difficulties with connecting and loading the platform.

According to DownDetector, a website that tracks online outages, around 3,100 users reported issues with Slack at its peak at 10 PM. As of 11:12 PM, the number of reports had dropped to about 1,400.
