India, Sept. 11 -- D2C cookware brand Ember has secured $3.2 Mn (INR 28.3 Cr) in its seed fund rounding from high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), family offices, and angel investors like Yoga Bar cofounder Suhasini Sampath and Salarpuria Group MD Apurva Salarpuria.

As part of the round, celebrity chef Saransh Goila joined Ember as its partner and investor.

Commenting on the fundraise, Ember cofounder Himanshi Tandon told Inc42, "We plan to double down on our research and development (R&D). While we have had access to global technologies, we also want to develop our own technologies. For this, we are setting up an innovation lab along with Saransh."
