India, May 5 -- Amid India's digitisation era, Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai has laid the foundation of the country's first AI-based data centre park.
On May 3 (Saturday), CM Sai laid the foundation stone for the data centre park in sector 22 of Nava Raipur, said the government in a statement.
The data centre will be developed in an area of 13.5 acres, out of which 2.5 hectares will be dedicated as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ), the statement added. This project, which is being operated by RackBank DataCenters Pvt. Ltd, will offer GPU-based high-end computing, live data streaming, AI processing and data analytics facilities.
The data centre park will initially have a capacity of 80 MW, which will later expand to 150 MW.
