India, March 29 -- Chennai-based SaaS startup Chargebee has bought AI-powered customer tracking platform Trainn to bolster its offerings.

However, the startup did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.

"We wanted an AI-first company's talent in the company. Trainn has a small, right-sized team of 14 people, who have been obsessed about this for the last few years. Besides, we also aim to have a product which can be introduced to our customers and elevate our customer service to the next level when it comes to training," Chargebee cofounder Krish Subramanian told Inc42.
