India, Feb. 17 -- AI-powered safety system provider for two-wheelers, BYTES, has secured an undisclosed funding from Nikhil Kamath's WTFund as part of its second cohort for 2024.

"AI and vision-based intelligence will play a crucial role in ensuring that safety isn't an afterthought but an integral part of riding," said BYTES cofounder and chief executive Prakhar Agrawal.

BYTES is also launching pilot programmes with top two-wheeler OEMs to integrate its safety system into real-world applications.

With a pre-seed funding round set to close soon, the company is on track to scale its technology to upgrade the accident prediction system.
