India, Jan. 20 -- Deeptech startup Unbox Robotics has raised $28 Mn (about INR 243 Cr) in its Series B round in a mix of primary and secondary capital. The round was led by ICICI Ventures and Info Edge's Redstart Labs, with participation from US-based F-Prime, 3one4 Capital, Navam Capital, Force Ventures, and other existing investors.
Without disclosing the secondary component, the startup said that the transaction also provided liquidity to employees through its ESOP programme.
Unbox Robotics plans to deploy the funds for expanding its presence across India and select international markets. Additionally, it will utilise the capital for building up its leadership and engineering teams along with developing new products.
