India, Feb. 1 -- Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that the company posted record quarterly sales in India during the October-December period with iPhone becoming the top selling smartphone model in the country during the quarter.
"I am particularly keen on India, India set a December quarter record during the quarter and we're opening four new stores there," said Cook in the company's financial results call Q1 2025.
In 2024, Apple surpassed INR 1 lakh Cr mark in iPhone exports from India in 2024, with total shipments reaching a record $12.8 Bn (around INR 1.08 Lakh Cr).
