A day after BYJU'S approached the Supreme Court (SC) challenging Aakash's rights issue, the apex court has reportedly set aside the plea, allowing AESL from proceeding with its second tranche of the issue, which sums to Rs.140 Cr.

As per a report by the Economic Times, the SC bench, led by Justice PS Narsimha, also granted Think & Learn to apply for shares not exceeding the number proportionate to its original shareholding.

The court also asked BYJU'S parent to subscribe to the rights issue by February 23.
